Cooroona Alpine Lodge, Falls Creek

Cooroona Alpine Lodge is a family friendly commercial ski lodge. Facilities include 12 guest rooms all with ensuites, 2 staff rooms with ensuite, spacious dining room, lounge, commercial kitchen, fire place, guest laundry, sauna, drying rooms & ski storage rooms. A modern three-bedroom apartment/ managers residence located directly behind the office in the entrance to the lodge.

Rooms can accommodate two to six guests with various configurations of bunk style, double and queen beds.

The lodge is centrally located within Falls Creek providing easy access to chair lifts, hire facilities, restaurants, bars, and all the other activities that Falls Creek has to offer.

The lodge is situated on a 1,144 square metre site, with the existing building on the front of the site. This provides the potential to further develop the rear of the site.

There is an existing 35-year lease in place with the Falls Creek Management Board which was entered into in March 2004. Generally speaking alpine properties are on crown land have a leasehold rather than freehold interest.

The current annual site rent charge is $14,362.36 per annum and service charges are $ 33,927.50 per annum.
